When I open a photo attachment which I receive in Outlook it opens up in the Windows Picture & Fax Viewer. The problem is, when I start cliking the Next Image button, the widow starts showing me cached images from long back(also contains some nude images :D). I am not able to find out these stored hidden images using 'search' option. The location of the pictures show as 'Local Settings/Temporary Internet Files/OLK". (using properties). Any idea how to get rid of these files

Clean Windows Picture and Fax Viewer Cache:
Internet cache: ccleaner 1.)
Else internet settings - clear data...

( But only after You send me some of the nicer pics :p - he he!

Find Windows Picture and Fax Viewer Cache:
You find them in XP :

Documents and Settings/Local Settings/Temporary Internet Files/...
By default the folder Documents and Settings is on C:/
Else perhaps on the partition where You have installed Windows - where the Windows folder is ;-)

how to locate that Documents and Settings folder on Your system IF You do not use XP is described in 2.) not only for Mozilla.

The explain it for theri applications but You have a start where to look. Maybe use Irfan view 3.) for searching and viewing pics.

If You open a list of pic in irfan view delete key lets You delete them - maybe try that with Your program also :-)

Have a nice Week-Eend

p. s. turn on view hidden folders, files and extensions sometimes helps to find what You want ;-)

Here's additional info, in case you don't wish to install software.

When you open an image in Windows Fax and Picture Viewer, no matter where you open the image from (Outlook, etc), the folder that contains the cached images can be easily found in the following manner:
* Open the image
* Right click in the top left corner of the picture viewer window
* Select Properties
* Copy the entire folder path from the properties dialog box
* Paste the path into a Windows address bar, and hit Enter

There is where the unwanted cached images are.

NOTE: If you navigate up one level, you will NOT see the cache folder, even if you've chosen to show all hidden and system files & folders. So, you will not be able to find the folder any other way, even with a full search.

Hope this helps.

it's because wen u veiw a picture on the internet, it saves them in a temp folder on ur computer so when you go back to that picture again it will appear faster and hasn't gotta be redownloaded of the internet again. so once youve gon so far through ur pictures, you will start to see some of theese aswell. it's nutthing to worri bout
