i have both norton and windows defender but i keep getting these e-mails claiming to be halifax bank asking me to click the link. i know not to, just wanna stop receiving them. can anyone help?

I have a 75,000 amp Belkin SurgeMaster Gold with 2700 Joules. But what if the Lightning bolt is larger than 75,000 amps? will it just ignore the protector and hit the PC or will it destory the MOVs but still ground the lightning and then allow the Safety Shutdown Technology to disconnect the PC?

Evidently some unknown people, inside or outside the building, were downloading massive files and causing the sysytem to crash. I suggested using a security password created each day to be signed out at the desk, but they insist that wouldn't stop the culprits who might just check out the password and then go out into the parking lot to download.
The Library now refuses to re-activate free WI-FI Internet for its patrons. Their computers are old and antiquated, not being able to use my own laptop for HW and research is a hardship!
Is there some way a wireless system can be created to prevent massive downloads and crashes? I would think that other libraries must have had to deal with this problem too. Is there a solution?

I've got a nasty trojan in my PC, there is a folder named "New Folder" in each and every folder in my drives.
Everytime I try to install any antivirise, the moment I click on the Antiviruse's setip folder it shuts down...
In short it is not letting me to install any antiviruse.

Please help me kick this virise off my PC...

I had AVG before and i was able to repair them, Avast! found some trojans and it told me to move to the chest..i want to repair them instead of letting them sit there..if its possible

Someone sent me an email with really cute emoticans. So many different ones that I really loved and would love to be able to use.
When I started to say that I would download it suggested I run a scan of pc it listed this program twice as i should delete and then I canceled. I don't mind some ads if I could also get some interesting and cute emoticans but also don't want to let in a virus
