I've been selling for 7 years. I tried to sell a signed Babe Ruth portrait and baseball that was a friend of mine's It came with a Certificate of Authenticity. However, since the certificate did not come from one of ebay's established authenticity houses, they pulled my auction and notified me that they suspected it as a fraud. I told my friend and we just decided not to try and re-list it. That was the only time this ever happened.
If your item is not fake, just contact ebay via email and discuss it with them. Paypal also can be contacted via email, and by phone.
