Cookies are not malignant, but, can be erased with Crapcleaner.

Viruses are usually not 'attacking' you, they are activated when you open a message, or, view a website.

Spyware can also include the definitions for malware, adware.

So, the solutions:

A. If you want to continue to live in the restricted box that Microsoft built, for which you pay the "Microsoft Tax", then pay the "Microsoft Stupid Tax"grab these FREE solutions:

3. Adaware by Lavasoft
4. CrapCleaner
5. Shootthemessenger
6. Firefox
7. Frostwire

B. If you want to run an Operating System on your hardware that is immune to the "114,000 Microsoft Virus Definitions" and lets you think outside the box that Microsoft built, so is stable, upto 50X faster, and is FREE, grab http://pclinuxos.com burn it to CDrom, and reboot.

Anti-virus software is all over the place as to which one is best. I use McAfee. However there are many free ones out there. Do a search and find a anti-virus then add the following programs.

Download, update and run Spybot---http://www.safer-networking.org/ . Don't forget to use the Immunize feature.

Download, update and run Adaware---http://www.lavasoftusa.com/software/adaware/products/select_your_product.php

Download SpywareBlaster---http://majorgeeks.com/download2859.html

SpywareBlaster doesn't scan and clean for spyware - it prevents it from ever being installed.

It's main features include:
- Prevent the installation of ActiveX-based spyware, adware, browser hijackers, dialers, and other potentially unwanted pests.
- Block spyware/tracking cookies in Internet Explorer and Mozilla/Firefox.
- Restrict the actions of potentially dangerous sites in Internet Explorer.

This can all be secured w/ all the built-in cleaners in the system, you just have to search, I don't have abti-virus but I used all the available things at the system, first is the system restore, its found on accessories then system tools, just create a restore point, then when your infected and your computer is being killed just use system restore again but this time click restore this will make your computer return to your status when you created the restore point, this erases all changes, viruses, errors and cookies, its just like going back to the past and change your mistakes, then next is the security in internet, just click on control panel, then network and internet connections, then set-up or change, andmodify the security and privacy sector, then your secure! gud luk!
