Is this good? will it affect the person around my block who has the actual service. I dont' know ...but it feels wrong

He has internet and he never signed up for it. He just bought a lap top at 500 dollars and he is getting internet working without eveen ever signing up to anything. Why does he have internet. He didn't touch anything. it just has internet

I need to know how to disable the firewall on my "linksys Etherfast cable/dsl router BEFSR41 V1" so i can host games in gears of war.
when i try to it says to verify the firewall setting on my router, when i go to the stup page, there is stuff like "gaming and Applications" but nothing about a firewall or how to disable it.

I have a regular telephone line (not vonage or something like that.) I also have a cable modem with wifi. When I am online and someone uses the phone, my laptop will stop getting the signal. Then a few minutes later it comes back then goes again. Is there anything I can do about it? Thanks in advance.
