I am looking for someone to pick their brain about IT jobs in central PA (York,Lancaster,Harrisburg,Reading,Lebanon).

I would like to get some opinions from people who are employed in the industry are self employed in the industry.

I know folks are out there and I would much appreciate your help.

This has only started happening recently (after working fine for a year). The connection is fine when the laptop is in a different room to the router although sometimes the connection speed drops. I've also lost the wireless connection with the printer and have to use a usb cable.

Its a very big problem that anyone is hacking and lock my pc from windows password . I have make reset password disk by floppy rom , but this hacker has crashed that also and written message in pasword hint that " I don't let you to use your pc , I have some devices from which I can access your pc from one mile far away and I am listening you also from your voice . No antivirus software, no window defender , no window firewall will block me to lock your pc "
Sir , there is no way to hide him , he crash all of windows password, I don't know who is he or she , just he write the message in hint place .
Please if you can help me so do it soon and give the solution so I can follow these instructions

Yes one main thing is that , I have no lan card , no net connection , no cable or dsl modem , then also he did lock my pc from windows password , I just reinstall my pc and within 5 min ( if he or she available at his place ) so he lock my pc .
2nd main thing is that , my pc got lock at only my home , and I got many pc from my friends, cousin , neighbours but this hacker does lock that all pc too . It means NO PC CAN RUN FROM MY HOME .
please I want your help on this matter

windows 98,upgrade to millenium edition.

I am getting DNS response through the socket..in that socket i can get ID, Questions, Answer RRs, authority...but i couldnt get IP version number, SIP and DIP..i am using "recvfrom()"..it receives DNS response and it doesnt have any ip information...is there any function to receive IP information too?...

Hi,
Does anyone know what is/are the port numbers that the Age Of Empires 02 use in multiplay over LAN.
Adding this program to the firewall by using "add program" wont work sometimes as this game can be played by simply copying the game directory to some other place in the HDD.
Or is there a smart other way to block this game from being played over LAN.

Hi!

I just bought a Linksys WRT54G router for my PC. I was originally on a cable modem. I am now connected via the router ethernet to the internet and my brother in the next room uses a wireless USB adapter to wirelessly connect to the internet. At the moment he can access the internet the same as me.

Talking to a partial-newbie here, is it possible to set up a network with his PC through this router so I can, for example, share stuff with his PC? We are both running Windows XP. Thanks!

When I turned on my laptop I couldn't connect to the internet. It was working fine yesterday, but for some reason I can't today

I have a dsl modem i run a speed test and it told me that my speed is 500 kpbs
is there any trick that i can make to increase my speed
Maybe i could change the configuration of my modem or something
or my speed really depends in my dsl modem
my dsl modem is speedstream 5100

my friend told me that he had some computer trouble and a guy in another state hgelped him fix it by "taking over his computer online" he moved his mouse and everything. what i wanna know is how can i do that. can i use remote desktop connection? if so how? if not what is remote desktop used for then? or do i need like an actual program installed to do that?

Since I've signed up, I've been getting disconnects on my cable modem every 15 minutes or so. That's about 20 times more often than when I'm surfing anywhere else. Is this a coincidence? Why would this be happening?

I just bought my laptop with a built in wireless thingy. Got a Belkin Pre-N Router. I ran the Belkin software and my home computer is running good. But I can't find my connection with my laptop. My wireless "switch" on the laptop is on. I can pick up everybody elses connection but not mine. Any clues on what I am doing wrong. Thanks.
