Since I've signed up, I've been getting disconnects on my cable modem every 15 minutes or so. That's about 20 times more often than when I'm surfing anywhere else. Is this a coincidence? Why would this be happening?

I work for a cable company and what the problem is taht your modem dosen;t have a strong signal going to it. you need to call your cable company and have a tech come out and check the levels and fix it.

perhaps if you have the instant messenger on?
or may be from increased usage
(my cable modem kept going wonky for awhile, but using one fresh out of the box had no effect!-the guy gave me an older model after like 3 visists and it worked)
