I have a problem here, my broadband is disconected, it doesn't really make a difference on my computer since I have Optimum Online, Cable Modem. But what I read is that I need to connect my broadband so I can use Nintendo Wi-Fi USB. So my question is would it affect my internet?

I just got Comcast Cable interent though it does work with just the modem. I want my sister play to so we got a NetGear WGR614 wireless router. I hooked up the modem to the router and the router to the computer I pop in the router install disc but when it said searching for connection it said "No connection" so I basically cant do nothing change the Mac or w.e any help?

I have a Lenovo 8922 laptop and whenever I connect to my wireless network at home, it connects and drops the signal constantly.
-I always connect to other Wi-Fi networks away from my house with no issue
-The other computers/laptops in my house have no connection issue.
-even with the laptop right next to the router, it has problems and its brand new!
please help!

right now i have great dial up its free until i get my dsl turned on but now it wont let me get connected ive been using it for about 2 weeks not really any problems now when i try to get connected it wont let me it always tells me "the computer did not respond " and nothing at all has changed its like just one day i couldnt get connected does anybody know what i could do? or does anyone know any other free dial up service im thinking it could be that ? any help would be awesome

Ok heres my setup...

-I have a computer connected to a wired network in my home
-It conntects to the internet via the wired network
-This computer has a wireless network adapter in addition to the wired one

I want to use the wireless adapter to create a wireless access point for my
house without buying a wireless router. I want to share the internet
connection from the wired network over the wireless adapter so that I can
connect other wireless devices to the internet.

Can someone please explain to me how to do this

I am pretty good at this and I am missing something. I've done all the setup steps and all the lights come on the modem and router except the activity light. In network settings the local area network says connected by there isn't any received packets only sent ones. I cannot connect to the internet but i can communicate with the router. I thought it was just a firewall issue but it isn't because they are OFF. With this router do I have to delete the SBC software or what? What else am I missing?

My husband had to reload his anti virus software on his laptop. Then something happened to the wireless connection. He was able to get onto his netgear fine but when I tried to get on to it, the name was changed to netgear_SafeABo (my husband's is still listed as just netgear) and when I entered the password (the same as my husband used) I get an error saying the network password needs to be 40 bits or 104 bits. Can any one tell me how I can get this fixed? Or what the problem might be?
