I have nero 7 on my desktop that has one DVD writer. I want to copy a DVD and realized that using a single DVD drive to make a disk image on the hard disk then copy that to a blank DVD will take ages.

I also have a laptop with a DVD writer.

If I connect the laptop and the ddesktop through a network. Can I get nero 7 to read from the laptop drive and copy to the desktop drive? Both computers are running Windows XP.

I just got a new laptop and I got a Linksys Wireless-N Router.
I am hoping to set up my own workgroup. I do know how to set it up. You go to control panel and use Network Setup Wizard on both computers ( My Laptop and My Desktop ) and its teh same workgroup on both computers. And I do have file and printer sharing enabled.

So, Here's my Problem!!
I can't access my desktop computer through my laptop, I can access my laptop through it. I can't access my desktop computer through my laptop so I can't use wireless printing and can't share my desktop files. Although I can access my laptop computer and my desktop computer through my Desktop Computer. I can totally access my laptop through my desktop.

Whenever I try to access my desktop computer through my laptop, it says that I might not have administrative rights or The Network path was not found. I can access my laptop through my laptop.

Please respond for to be chosen as best answers.

I don't want any crap here!!!!!!!!!

HI,
I have a problem in networking. I managed to wirelessly access printer from my laptop to my desktop and other files. But I cant access from laptop to pc my files only printer I can. Why is this so? I tried disabling firewalls and it doesn't work. Both run xp. When I click on the laptop in the same work group my desktop comp it says I don't have permission and I should contact administrator and both comp are logged as admins. As we are connected via router why is it that I can see my laptop files fine but I cant see on my laptop the files from desktop?

Okay the Router is a Linksys Wireless-G 2.4 GHz BroadBand Router. My ISP is Cox Communications which is a Cable Internet. Anyway, i followed all the instructions for the linksys CD. It connected and it worked well. The Internet went to the PC and it went to my PSP like i wanted it to. Problem is, after like 30-40 minutes of use, the internet shuts down from my PC. IE displays Page Cannot be Displayed. When that i happends, the only way i can get internet, is if i take the Ethernet cord and connect it directly from my cable modem right into my Ethernet port in the back of my PC modem. Meaning the Router is no longer involved. I want to know how i can keep the Router connected giving off Wi-Fi signals yet still have the internet connection on my PC. Thanks.

I got a Lynksis wireless broadband router for christmas and have yet to figure out how to set it up. The guide says that to set it up I have to disconnect the modem but I can't because the modem is somewhere in the dorm building and everyone's dorm room is connected to it. I skipped the step but then I just got an error later on that said I should turn the modem on and off, which i can't do! The lynksis website has not been much help so before I call customer service I was wondering if anyone had any useful advice. Thanks!!
