I have a Lenovo 8922 laptop and whenever I connect to my wireless network at home, it connects and drops the signal constantly.
-I always connect to other Wi-Fi networks away from my house with no issue
-The other computers/laptops in my house have no connection issue.
-even with the laptop right next to the router, it has problems and its brand new!
please help!

Update firmware of router, change the channel of the frequency in router setting, disable "allow Windows to shut off power to this device" under power management tab in properties for your network adapter, assign yourself a static IP address if you have to, clone your MAC address to router, change IP lease time to a higher time.

What type of network adapter are you using?

I had the same issue and it was the firmware for my Netgear USB adapter.

Just in case you wanted to know. Don't go cheap. Get a linksys thats what I did.

I have the same problem. It is annoying, and it also affects the computer furthest away from the wireless connection point. We just put up with it.

The router and your laptop may not be "speaking the same language." Contact the router's maker, and provide them with your laptop's particulars.

Hi

It could be 2 things , the first is that it could be that the driver is NOT loading properly and the second is that the encryption on your wireless is NOT saving it
