The sticky part of the pad is still on the hood. Its been like 2 weeks... nothing seems to get it off... any ideas?

hi i have recently bought(and made) a new rc car and have bought a 11t x2 motor for this car - but i am trying to work out the optimum gearing ratio for it

i have read up about it bit most is way to over my head

i was just wondering if someone could give me a link or even better a ratio for the best performance(mainly accelleration)

at the moment i have 26t:78t - and this seems a little lame :(

I have a 84 ford f-150 with a 302 v8 in it and it dies on accel, it will sit and idle fine but will die as soon as u try to accel in gear, i have replaced the dist cap and rotor and plug wires and plugs and also the fuel filter. Any ideas? also i have set the timeing to where it should be

It's OK when the car is moving but at stop light the needle shoots up to hot. Had battery replaced Thusday (this is probably irrelevant?) and the next day it started running hot...Help Please...Any ideas????

ok my brother in-law was driving his car down the road and all of a sudden the motor starts knocking hard as hell.....tock tock tock and the more her accelerates the car the louder and more consistent the loud gets. we checked the oil and it was fine.....but if u put ur hand over the valve cover you feel the valves knocking. does anyone have an EDUCATED solution for this problem?.....please only EDUCATED non-ignorant answers PLEASE!

ok, I have a 1999 SL2 saturn... the other night, the horn came on, and wouldn't shut off, so my neighbor came over, and we tried to get it to stop.. the car started, and it still wouldn't go off.. so we pulled the fuse out.. and still on ! so, we finally ended up pulling the entire battery out to make the dang horn shut off.. and it did.. so when my fiancee came home, he put the battery back in, and the car won't start now...at all. We bought a NEW battery, and it still won't start... the garage can't tell what's wrong, they tried hooking it up to a "computer" but the computer needed power from the car to "read" and since the car won't turn over, or start , there's no power.... anyideas on what the heck happened, or what it could be?? the car is in REALLY good shape, I use it to commute to work, so I don't want to junk it.. but is it saveable ???? any ideas????

I was in a small crash a few days ago. I swerved to get out of the way of another crash that happened in front of me and ran up on the curb. No serious body damage and I drove away just fine. The problem is that now my car is having other problems. At about 2000 rpm the car becomes very loud. After shifting gears it is just fine but just excelerating will make the car growl. There is also a lot more engine vibration now. I have a feeling that is it something with the exaust but I would think that it would still be loud when idleing. If you could help me diagnose my problem, i would greatly appreciate it.

My Subaru dealer would not probe into this matter without a check engine code and suggested that it is the "winter mix" in fuels that is most likely to blame. However, I find it hard to believe that it would account for a drop of about 7-8 mpg.

I have changed thermostat, flushed coolant, replaced radiator cap and still have intermittent overheating issue. It will purge all coolant into reservoir then after shutting off engine for a brief period, coolant will go back into radiator. Water pump good pressure, belts and pulleys fine. Fan has little resistance when cold when trying to turn by hand and same when hot....good or bad? It is a 1991 with 99,544 original miles, otherwise strong engine. No engine coolant in oil, no water coming out of exhaust, no exhaust smell in coolant. Any ideas what to check next? Thanks!

I've got the repair manual and have done some troubleshooting. I recently replaced the battery. The car was working but recently on the highway the speedometer went down and the car started losing power. I made it home but now not even the dashboard lights come on...nada. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
