Sounds okay, if it's a V8. My V6 idles at 750 RPM usually.

Fuel filter should be BEFORE the fuel pump, generally speaking. I am not totally sure about your specific model though.

idle is fine// the fuel filter is under the vehicle on the left rear about 2 feet forward from the gas tank//god bless//goodluck
