A couple of years ago I owned a primera 1.6, I had the car for over 80,000 miles I used 10/40 fully synthetic oil, serviced it every 7000, the engine sounded perfect when I had finished with the car & no loss in performance-my mate bought an exact same spec primera as I had-with less miles, mine was quicker, quieter & most efficient of the two-then again I bought it with practically no miles on the clock-so I knew it never missed a service

Since I have insufficient data to make an accurate assessment, I would recommend Mobil 1 synthetic 10w-30

DEPENDING ON THE MILES, THE YEAR, ARE GOOD FACTORS FOR OIL. THE BEST THING TO DO IS GO TO YOUR LOCAL AUTOPARTS STORE AND START READING THE QUARTS OF OIL. IT'S GOOD CAUSE YOU WILL ALSO LEARN A LITTLE BIT. OR JUST SIMPLY ASK ONE OF THE GUYS AT THE COUNTER.
