it's a lot of fun, you have to drill out rivets and then get real small bolts to put it back in, the whole regulator has to come out to do this.

If your looking at doing it yourself I hope your experienced with drilling out rivets. The motor that is put in the door from the factory is riveted in, You will have to drill these out to get the old motor out. The new motor comes with screws in place of the rivets. Your better off taking it to a shop to get it done. Before you buy one from a dealership call the dealership and see what the price is and how long the warranty is. Sometimes parts stores will carry ones that are cheaper and have the same warranty.

Um...big pain in the butt! Not sure what your question here is exactly.
Your best option unless you are an auto glass person, is to take it to an autoglass shop. Even though it is your motor (and are you sure it is?) Autoglass replacment facilities deal with this too.
If you do it yourself, just pray you dont break the glass during installation. Depending on the year of your camaro, they can be expensive to replace.
Get your motor from the dealership. do not go with the referbished ones they tend to fail rather quickly and with a factory one you get a warranty.
have fun!

Are these other people SERIOUS??? DO NOT TAKE OUT THE REGULATOR. I replaced my drivers side motor in about an hour. Buy JUST the motor. I found a set of brand new OEM on ebay. Then go here. http://shbox.com/page/windowmotor.html
if yer any bit handy, you can pull this off. I'm about to do my passenger side here in a few minutes :)
