I need to replace the tail light on my 1999 neon. I bought the tail light assembly from a junk yard. How hard is this to replace? Can I do it myself with tools I have here at home? Would hate to pay the shop to replace it if I can do it myself. If someone could give me the basics on how to replace it,I'm sure I could figure it out from there. Thanks for any info...

a relay or fuel kill switch stopped the flow of fuel to the engine. Would this be located in the trunk of the car.

My mum over in England had a quote for 500 pound and when I told her to query it they said it's a 2 day job. I'm a little sceptical myself, but I've never replaced brake pipes.

Being female, the first thing I see is a mechanic poking around my car with a screwdriver. The last guy I used was getting ready to jam one into my brake fluid reservoir and I quickly covered it with my hand and told him, "Don't even try it!" I feel like they are breaking one thing while they're fixing the other so I'll have to come back and pay more money. God forbid they should find out you make a decent wage. How can I find one I can trust?

I have a 1994 Grand Prix and it has 175,000 miles on it. I just spent way too much lately so that they would "fix" my car's overheating problem and now I am being told that it has a blown head gasket. Is it worth it to get the work done or should I get another car? If so, how much should I expect to pay? Thanks in advance.

I'm about to get a set of new tires for my car. I'm leaning towards the Yokohama YK520's. I drive a Saturn Ion sedan, and I drive slightly more on the aggressive side. I've read mostly good reviews of the tire so far, but what are your impressions?

How is the dry/wet traction?
How is the road noise?
How is the tread life?
Does the tire feel overly soft or rigid?

Thanks for any comments you can give!

Does anyone know what is wrong with my car?

It was going fine, no problems and then yesterday I went to take the kids to school and it wouldn't start. It was just clicking when i turned teh key so I came to the conclusion that it was a flat battery.
Got it jump started and all was fine. Then after driving for about 45 minutes i got to work. I thought this would have been enough to charge it back up but obviously not. Did the same on the way home but it is still just clicking and won't start.

Would this be the battery? It is nt holding the charge. Another thing that someone said was alternator.

Any suggestions?
