a relay or fuel kill switch stopped the flow of fuel to the engine. Would this be located in the trunk of the car.

Checked Autozone website as they usually tell where parts are located. For your car there was no fuel pump inertia switch listed.

Yes near the hinge on most models

someplace in the trunk usually google it and find out exactly where, or call a local dealers maint shop.
