I need to buy 4 new tyres for my car-at the moment the tyres are mitchellin.Should I but Mitchellin again-I know I can get cheaper makes for half the price but it it worth paying the extra & if so why?

I know that when you turn the key (in the ignition) to ACC (last click before starting the car). Everything is supposed to come on. I only get;
SERVICE ENGINE SOON
FASTEN SEAT BELTS
TEMP
COOLANT
is there any way I can find out what ALL of these lights are supposed to be? please provide a link, if you can.

I have a Mitsubishi Montero 2002 full size.Has around 57k every thing is original so far. Since yesterday I noticed engine cranking very hard but does start. Is it time for a new battery?

I need to change the fuel filter in my Mecury Grand Marquis..I'm not sure where it is located. I have the fuel filter but, its not where I thought it would be. Its a 1988. Can anyone give me detailed instructions to where it is at? and any tips for changing it would be really helpful.

Ok, so i have a 94 eagle talon ds. and well the tubing and the filter are crap on the air intake setup.... but the intake sysem is from a 92 plymth laser.. and i beleive that the maf sensor is actually a turbo airflow sensor..... and it is huge(its also in horrible shape). i was wondering if they sell like a small interchangable maf sensor at a store like auto zone, or nappa (cheap, maybe less then 50 dollars). or is there a way to bypass the sensor?. i'd apreciate the help

on my 01 nissan maxima i had the mechanic put new OEM japanese pads and had the rotors resurfaced. the rotors are brembo's blank not sure if they are OEM. when i drive slow and aproach to a stop sign i can hear the whistle sound that comes from front brakes. its not too loud as yet but its there and develops with soft braking. i checked rotors but cant realy tell if they are wearing out unevenly. what can cause this whistle sound even though my brakes are new. could it be cuz of cheap rotors?

when i turn on the blower for heat/air it wont work and on a rainy day i found out that the windshield wippers didnt work as i pulled over the wippers started working so i tryed the heater and it started to work too asked a shop person and the anser i get is bad fuse but all the fuses are good is there some wrong with my battery or alternater or is there a hidden relay

When I go to brake it makes a really weird noise, like darth vader breathing, or a jet flying overhead... it used to only happen sometimes, but now its everytime i brake. It has also started to make strange noises when i accellerate too, like its a wind up car or something... the car still runs perfectly, and the brakes are sound too... whats wrong?
