What is the width of a brake roter for a 95 Chevy Lumina supposed to be?

My brother needs to know so he can fix his brakes.

The front rotors start at 1.039". The minimum finish thickness is .972", and if they are below .956, they must be discarded.

rotors are cheap. they are just a hat on these cars
