Hi,

Could anyone tell me where I can find the starter motor on a Renault Espace Helios (1993)?

Hi All,

Recently my Renault Espace Helios (1993) won't start.

She had a few dodgy starts recently which happened when I turned the ignition key - my car tried to start but then just cut out. After a couple of attempts (and applying the accelerator pedal) she started.

Since then she has stopped and refuses to start - when I turn the ignitiion key she is completely silent.


I have tried charging my battery overnight, but this didn't work (I don't think that it is the battery as all lights, wipers, heater, locking system ect. are still working. Also the battery charger's green LED light indicated that my battery is fine).

I have also checked my spark plugs, and they are all clean and in good condition.

I have no idea what it could be, so any help would be greatly appreciated!

98 Saturn SL2, when you let off the gas and start to slow down, when it hits approx 1500 rpms, the needle jumps a bit and when you apply the brake it feels like the car still wants to go.Had the Throttle Position Sensor cleaned up. Anybody have any suggestions?? I mean besides getting rid of the car!

I bought a used 2003 Honda Odyssey EX and tried to change the radiator coolant by myself because the test shows it is not good. I jacked the van up and looked for a draincock under the radiator, but nowhere I could find it. Someone suggested that I should remove the undercover, so I did it, but still I could not find anything like that. Can anyone help me find the Honda Odyssey radiator draincock?

I own a Mercedes W reg A class petrol model. There is a bad squeel coming from one wheel and i want to remove pads to see if there is a problem with caliper but cant work it out. can calipers be cleaned if not returning properly?

I need help troubleshooting my fuel gauge in my 1966 Mustang, it says it's always FULL with hardly any gas in the tank, but when I turn off the car the meter goes down to empty as if it works. What can I check to see if i need new parts or if its a quick fix?

I've had a 2000 and a 04 mustang and both car's exhaust crackles when hot and turned off I think it's comming from the catalic converter, but how or what would be a solution to make it stay quiet when car is turned off and exhuast is hot?

All I know is that it spits out codes to tell you what's wrong. I'm getting my car checked on one next Friday and I was just wondering if it's actually going to tell me the right things cause money is TIGHT! I have problems with my radiator and my oil and like my alternator. I think. Will the diagnoistic check tell me that type of stuff? Cause they said they had one for the transmission too and I'm just really confused.

I have a 1999 Pontiac Grand Am V6 and we have had this one friggin spark plug in forever it seems and it just won't come out! We had our local mobile mechanic come out to take a looksy and even he couldn't do it! It keeps misfiring when we go uphill (Austin is full o' hills) Any tricks or tips on how to get it out? Oh yeah it is on the back side of the motor right against the firewall and is a cramped space to work in not even my little arms fit in let alone my hubby's monster forearms! Anyone HELP!

In early Dec. of last year my Jimmy which has the 4.3L Z engine died on me but after a change of plugs, wires, cap and rotor, fuel filter and the addition of a Jacobs Electronics Ultra Coil the truck up until last week ran better then ever. It now dies at idle and when I go to accelerate it is very low on power. Although it seems to be firing on all six cylinders, when it shifts it's at high revs and the truck lurches and top speed seems to be about 35 mph. I've once again changed every thing I did back in Dec. and on the advice of an engineer at work I changed out the oxygen sensor but with no improvement. I'm at wits end and am sadly without a code reader. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated!!

on the post cat o2, should the voltage vary from about 250-600mv with a slow switch time, and under heavy load demand should you see rich condition for a moment(like the upstream) or should the mv stay lower? what does the ecm look for to set a po420(cat eff.)

It doesnt always happen, but occasionally, I cant get the wipers to work, it doesnt matter what wiper mode I select, ie: windshield wash, mist, or the normal delay, or low or high speed, it still gives a high pitched tone, that sounds nothing like an electric motor. But rather like a circuit board, such as a failing transistor? Then if I wait about a minute of not trying to get the wipers to move, and I try them again, all modes of wiper activity work. Any ideas? I dont think its the switches. Thanks

This happens even though the doors are shut. I have also made sure that the third door is shut tight. I have determined that it is the passenger door that the truck thinks is open. How can I find the door switch that lets the truck know if it is open or not? If I can't fix or bypass this switch, I'll have to find the fuse and disable the dome light and the cargo light so they don't remain lit while I drive.

I am going to change spark plugs in my 98 corolla. I went to bosch website and they said that the PLATINUM+4 7A-FE plugs are compatible with my Car. but my Cars manual says that I should put in twin spark plugs.

Is it okay to put in 4 ground spark plugs in my Corolla. My dad says no because he thinks it going to be hotter and mess my engine up, but I am looking for more power and fuel efficiency.

I need advice of an expert please!!!

is it worth $500. to have it towed and then sit in my driveway until I figure out the problem. In your shoes, what could "carberator issues" mean? he said it doesn't have a key, but all papers are good. Could the whole not starting problem be a bad ignition? WHAT DO YOU THINK?

I just put on brand new Brembo crossed drilled rotors and the left front(driver) side is making a whirring sound, anything idea what it might be? The pad are semi- new ceramic pads and were pretty good.
