Well as it is muffler was NOT made for this & therefore should Refrain from such act....it's a back pressure you giving the engine....it could harm the engine seriously ....if some object is stuck up the muffler system preventing any air to escape the car will NOT start...but if it's stuff that can be easily blown off with the force of air coming through the exhaust pipe like ....a potato it's ok BUT NOT a SODA / Water Bottle or BASEBALL....

had this to happen to me made some one mad and they got even. caused muffler to rupture sounded like a canon going off and done engine damage never was able to get engine repaired so i junked the car.
