it honestly depends on were you go, what color you get, if you get a gloss coat etc... just a normal every day paint job would be around$400-$800 two tone might be an extra 100-300 again depending on were you go

If you just want a fresh coat with no other work about 200 bucks. Really if you want a good decent pain job that’s not going to flake you need to shop around and ask the right questions. The cheaper the cost to paint the more likely you will need to repaint again in a year or so. Ask them what they do prior to repainting the car. If they say we just wash it and then paint it. You may not want to have them paint your car. A really good paint shop will start by pulling all the trim off the car and scuffing every last inch. You have to scuff the old paint to give the new paint something to adhere to. Once they scuff it up they will wash the car and let it air dry. They should then (If you have requested it) repair any dings or deep scratches in the paint and the scuff again. Wash it a 2nd time and start to paint. They will let it dry and then go over it again with 1500 grit wet sander. Wash it and paint it one more time. Once that is complete they let it bake in the paint booth to give it that nice shine. If any of the other trim pieces need to be repainted they will do them in the process while they are off the car. After that they reassemble the car and it’s ready to go. With time, paint and material you’re looking around 2000 to 3000. That’s what it costs for a good paint job. Anything less then I can guarantee the paint will start to peel or flake off with in the first year of the repaint. Now if you just want to repaint it so you can sell it hit the 200 dollar job.

i own a shop, and on that one you can expect to pay around 2000 at the least for it,if you two tone it that's even more, the price of paint and materials has gone up so bad here this past year it has gotten ridiculous at how much it actually cost for enough paint and supplies to paint a car now,but an average cheap paint job for one of those would be around 1500 to start with, and it can keep climbing ,it all depends on how good you want it to look and what kind of paint you decide to use on it,good luck,i hope this helps.

I just had my car painted ( a 2003 lancer) just a color change without door jambs, under hood etc. I got a screaming good deal at $1400 since I did a TON of prep myself. I wouldnt go to a production paint booth (ie maaco) unless you want to da ALL the prep and believe me to get it done right even at maaco for a job you want it is 1500 to 2000 there advertised price goes up fast when finishing work is added. I would say unless you can strike a deal your looking at 2-3k for a basic job done right.

$300 to $3000

You got a basic just paint over your original paint(CRAP)

or you get your paint stripped and car sanded, and all the body work fixed, then primed and painted to what you want.
You're better off with the ones that cost $1000+ its a quality job you are paying for.

11 year old car. You didn't mention mileage, but, regardless of what the Kelly Blue Book is, I wouldn't pay more than $5000 at a dealer.
