I had them installed this afternoon and they seemed fine--but when I left work the front brakes were squeakin' and squealing just before full stops. Will that go away or what? (2003 BMW 325Ci)

When i turn on my car, it squeaks for about 30 secs then stops squeaking! what is it? is it the fan belt doing that? someone told me it might be that but i wanted to see what you all thought? thanks!

I looked on bobistheoilguy.com but I cannot find any UOA's about it. The compression pressure on my car read 200, 195, 190, 205. Pretty damn good. I've been using this oil for about 30,000 miles. I'm just wondering why no one has mentioned this car oil considering it's quality. The only reason I don't use synthetic oil is because my car has a valve cover leak and I cannot afford to pay for the oil it will leak while I am driving. (Approximately 2000 miles it will consume one quart.)

I cut a whole in my airbox lid and now it stalls when the throttle is placed all the way in. I placed the clip on the stock carb needle on the 4th step and not much of an improvement.Now I have bought new jets(not the needle) size 170(compared to the stock 118's) but it isn't responding normally. Is it the lid or has something else happened to it? Please respond beacause I want it back up to its powerful self so I don't have to use my longtravel YFZ.

i have a 89 ford probe .its starts in the moring but after it runs awhile it wont start back up until it sits awhile. then it runs real bad in first and second gear.if you give it alot of gas it dose fine.i put a nwe coil on it runs no better.what would make it do that vacume leak?fulepump? disturber cap? please help

Hi, i'm just wondering why automotive air conditioning systems on buses, cars, ect. needed to be re gassed every few years whilst refrigerators and split system A/C's in the home never really need to be re gassed?

P.S. By never being re gassed i mean not needing to be re gassed for a long time as i have a 12 y/o fridge which is running the same is did when i bought it with no service ever done it, same with my split system A/C.

I have a noise coming from what seems to be the front left wheel. Sounds like something is grinding. The noise actually sounds like I have a flat tire when I get to about 30MPH. The noise stops or goes really soft when I let off of the gas. There is also some vibration. This is definitely not the engine, the engine sounds great when car is not rolling. Could this be some kind of bearing? How can this be fixed and what is a reasonable price to have this fixed? and how damaging is it to continue to drive with this going on? Any help would be great!

When engaged in drive and gas is applied it sound like it wants to get up and go but the mph is slow to rise. Sometime if I let off the gas pedal for a minute it will help engage. Once it reaches 35-40 mph it rides beautiful. Any help is greatly appreciated.

I have a 1995 Ranger with 174,000 miles. The other day i was driving to work and the clutch started acting up. First it engaged way earlier than usual (this happened for 2 shifts). Then it went from normal resistance to no resistance and I could no longer shift into gear. I checked my fluid level in the resevoir and it was empty. I tried bleeding it but I am not sure I did it right. Is there air in the system or is my clutch shot?

I have an 04 Jeep Grand Cherokee that has an error code of "bad Throttle Position Sensor". Is it typical for a TPS to go bad on a 2004? I understand that, depending on the make and model, some can be adjusted. If I just replace it will it come with the proper settings? Should I leave it to a machanic?

Well I am 17 and I am fixin to get a good sound system for my car. I don't really have any experience with sound systems so I would appreciate some reccomendations. I am also undecided on what car i am gettin but I might keep my dads 2000 maxima or get another car which will probably b like a honda civic or accord or camry around 04-05. If I were to get a Honda I might also want to supe it up a bit so if anyone has any info that would b great!
