I want to place a divider in my 2-car garage to seperate the 2 bays. One bay will be kept nice while the other can keep all the clutter. Is there a cost effective way to accomplish this while still being asthetically pleasing and non-permanent (i.e. curtain, accordian wall, ...)? Anyone have epxerience with this?

My husband is a mechanic and a few weeks ago he put in a fuel pump for this woman.. turns out her fuel guage was also off and had to be replaced. she payed for the fuel pump installation not the installation of the control panel or whatever it is called. well she has been calling my husband's job relentlessly. She wanted him to do the work for free... so last night my husband's boss called here after hours my husband gets off from work at 5 and this was 6:30 and left a message on my voicemail that if my husband did not go over there and install the panel that he would take a 100 dollars out of my husband's check and give to the woman.. I kept the message... I know he cant do that what legal recourse should I do if that does happen? any help would be greatly appreciated... Thanks in advance.

Ok, I have a 1996 jeep cherokee and lately the brakes have began to squeal. If I press on the brake pedal hard it stops, but it seems to be a sweet spot when I press enough just to decelerate lightly that they do it. Is there something I can do to remedy this?

I am a female so know nothing about cars.

I have a 1997 Chevy Blazer and this morning it would not go in reverse. Then the RPM's shot up when I tried going forward. It's never happened before this time.

I checked the fluid and it's practically empty. Would adding some help? And if so how much? Is it okay to drive to the store to buy it or should I walk and let the car rest?

Thanks for any help!

I notice that when I start to accelerate, my steering wheel begins to vibrate and tremble, it gets worse the faster I go. It also vibrates as I am braking. This only happens at high speeds. What could be causing this? It started happening after I was almost in an accident and had to slam on the brakes. I have already replaced the brake pads.

I've always liked power windows. Something happened to the driver side window of my 1997 Saturn, it fell off the track or something. Should I take this opportunity to convert the windows to power windows? How much does this cost? Is it worth it?

My little Rover 100 had its MOT in January this year and passed. 6 weeks later, the handbrake cable went; I took it to the nearest garage, (which happened to be differnt to where I went for the MOT), and they informed me that the seized cable should have been picked up in the MOT. I now have a new cable fitted. Can anyone offer advice on what to do about the first garage? I had my rear wheel cylinders done there too, and am wondering what else might be wrong with my car.

I am getting power to the fuel pump through the wires but the fuel pump is still not kicking on, but when the pump is hooked up to a battery charger it works fine, I have checked the fuses, and the shut off switch, and those are fine.

what % of ethanol is safe to put into your gas tank? i know 10% works fine why wouldnt 80% run fine. with gas prices at $ 4.00 a gallon i was thinking of making some ethanol out of corn or grain and some pre compost and bumping up the precentage in my tank. IS THIS SAFE? it works fine in my lawnmower and weed wacker at 70% ethanol and 30% premium gas. this allso could be good for the enviroment low emitions

Does anyone know if the marks should be directly across or should the cam mark be on the high side. I know they must align but the book shows directly across but seems its not right because after I put it as the book showed and started to rotate it the exhaust valve was opening up.
