The way you drive can make a difference in MPG. Dont accelerate hard, dont be a ronnie revit...maintain a speed. Cruise control on highways, dont speed. A flow thru tailgate will help with wind resistance. Air pressure in tires helps the car roll easier. a properly tuned engine will help. Old Oxygen sensors can affect MPG also. When they get carboned up in the exhaust they cant give th ecm (computer) proper info and that might cause the ecm to alow more gas to go thru the injectors. Mass airflow sensor also helps the ecm manage fuel consumption by sensing the air going in the motor. Is you MPG lower than what the manufacturer says is normal? Has it droped recently? Might just be a gas guzzler...

i've got been using my '05 AWD Magnum RT for over a year now. Is it a reliable motor vehicle? i might say definite. there is not any longer something available that i might desire to be using. It suits me properly. Is it undesirable on gasoline? relies upon on what you study it to - whilst in comparison with an entire length SUV or pickup, it fairly is notably reliable, whilst in comparison with an "economic equipment" motor vehicle, it fairly is notably undesirable. i wanted some thing that should tow a 3000+lb trailer via the mountains and had a reliable quantity of indoors area for non-trailer hauling. no longer something with those features had extra effectual mileage (different than some diesel automobiles ... ), maximum have been a lot worse. I frequently get 18-19mpg in blended using, 23-24mpg on interstate journeys working 70mph. Does it require a lot of maintenance? i've got had one guarantee restoration performed in the previous year, they replaced a leaky o-ring on a wiring plug going into the transmission - it took in line with hazard an hour and replaced into performed on a similar time as I had my oil replaced. It has consistently run great, and has under no circumstances enable me down. it fairly is been an spectacular highway motor vehicle for me. The coping with features of the AWD, great brakes, digital stability administration and passenger secure practices helpful components make for a properly behaved, secure motor vehicle. The engine's power potential that I under no circumstances have a concern merging into intense velocity site visitors, hiking hills, or passing (whilst needed).
