I looked on bobistheoilguy.com but I cannot find any UOA's about it. The compression pressure on my car read 200, 195, 190, 205. Pretty damn good. I've been using this oil for about 30,000 miles. I'm just wondering why no one has mentioned this car oil considering it's quality. The only reason I don't use synthetic oil is because my car has a valve cover leak and I cannot afford to pay for the oil it will leak while I am driving. (Approximately 2000 miles it will consume one quart.)

You make a good point. However, comparatively, Mobil Clean oil is more expensive than standard conventional oil. I'm only using the oil because I'd rather use Mobil oil more than anyone else's. I already know the great benefits of synthetic. That's what I used for the first 30000 miles I've driven with the car. When I get that valve cover leak fixed, this won't be an issue.

Note: 1991 Toyota Camry 2.0L I4 3F-SE
The engine is probably designed for higher viscosity oils anyhow.

Conventional oils have also made a great leap in the past couple decades.

It is oil that is good for 5000 miles but also cleans the engine.... like a detergent oil. I wouldn't use it with engines that have over 100K miles. This oil will clean out the carbon on the rings and clean the oil seals, you could end up with oil leaks or burning oil..... I would use the mobile high mileage in your case......check out the mobile oils listed here.....

I'm not sure about Mobil Clean, all I run nowadays is synthetic (or blend), but I understand the leak thing.

If you ever get out of that, I watch the papers and when an autoparts store has a sale like Buy1/Get1, I usually pick up a case or 2 of synth like that (50% off the price, it don't get no cheaper than that).

As for why nobody uses the stuff, it's the same reason most people never pump premium: they fail to realize it actually costs more in the long run to use cheap stuff.

Put a half bottle of engine flush in your oil and idle the motor for 5 minutes- No more. Change the oil and filter with Mobile 1 or AMSOIL. If they sell that brand oil filter, buy it. Why not an 8K to 15K mile oil change that has been proven for, forever?
