"cost of alternator"?

How much will it cost to replace an alternator in a 2001 Chevy Cavalier. I know it depends on the shop and if its new or a rebuild, but I just need an estimate.

i own a shop,and parts and labor probably around 125.00 bucks total ,for everything ,good luck hope this help,s.

you can get a working one from the salvage yard for 20
