there are diffrent things you can do to get a little bit more horse power. For one thing thats a good amount of horse power but to make it more horse power u may need to spend some money .one thing you could do is take off thecap that is on top od the pistion .take off all the boltsthe if the gasket is stuk to the cap take it off carefully when u got it off get the piston cap and sand it down so their is more pressure in the chamber.BUT be carefull get some play dow and stik it under the cap were the valves hit so you dont sand off to much becaus if you do the valves will hit the cap and it will cause great damage to the engein.MAKE SURE you rotate the crank shaft so the valves go fully up on the play dow use the playdow as a guide of how much to sand off

its quite simple but its hard to explane

you can also use a higher octane gas like 100 octane its kind of rare but u can find it

when u rebuild it you should get new gas filter and new piston rings and oil rings

you should put a hotter sparking spark it will make sure all of the gas thats inside the combustion chamber burnes and produses power.

another way for the engine to have more power is to get more air to it better and quiker. like if the carburatore is those that are on the 90 degree pipes it will slow the air down remeber the engine needs air, fuel ,pressure, and timing if you can improve this areas you can make the engine stronger and faster.

ive seen people make 5 hp engiens and got them up to 18 horse power GOOD LUCK.

Search out some go-kart websites. There are people out there that get those things to make 12 hp with just bolt on stuff. Of course, power comes at a price, how much is up to you.

There really isn't much else you can do other than rebuild it, use high-quality oil. There are accounts of ppl rigging up nitrous to these smaller types of motors, but that just isn't practical, easy, and I have a feeling you don't want to deal with it. Plus that motor probably wouldn't last long with nitrous. So here is the answer. There isn't much to do.

bigger carb, smooth out the ports for better intake and exhaust flow, cut the head about 20-30 thousandths, get a raptor 2 block. these have bearings on each end of the crank instead of bushings. more rpm. less power lost due to friction.
