Well I am 17 and I am fixin to get a good sound system for my car. I don't really have any experience with sound systems so I would appreciate some reccomendations. I am also undecided on what car i am gettin but I might keep my dads 2000 maxima or get another car which will probably b like a honda civic or accord or camry around 04-05. If I were to get a Honda I might also want to supe it up a bit so if anyone has any info that would b great!

Here's an idea.
How about using that money for a college education so you can get a decent degree and a good paying job. Then once you're making the big bucks you can get a NEW REAL PERFORMANCE CAR.

Strange the car didn't come wiht an in-dash stereo from the factory. They work just fine. Also the soup-it-up thing... what, the car won't go the posted speed limit? Might need a tune up or something. Just a thought, after all the vehicle is a piece of transportation equiment, not a kiddie toy!

for a 2000 maxima i recommande two twelve inch rock fored fosgate this thing can really bump if hooked up right i also recommaned a 2000 watt amp and 1000 watt amp for the mids
i also recommaned a capasitor so you dont get stuck in a freeway from a dead battery also good brandes i recommened also aduiobond amps and speakers and clarion are top of the line also but most ecnomical and performens are the rockfored fosgate brand.good luck.

Do you like people driving with a cell phone glued to there ear? The same thing applies to LOUD music. There is nothing wrong with good systems in a car, BUT only when it's parked.

I highly suggest you get off the status symbol, and invest in college.

I'm not trying to be rude, but that car will be crap in a few years, but your mind won't if you get it educated, and forget about being cool!
