It could be the fan belt but I would have the alternator checked.
If you want a cheap way to check and see if it is the belt take a bar of soap and rub on it. If that stops it then it 's time for a new belt.

Depends on the car. Some cars have more than one belt. My car has a serpentine belt on the side that runs pumps, alternator, etc. Usually if a belt needs replacing, you'll see cracks on the top of it. Sometimes belts just get wet from oil leaks, antifreeze, etc. and make squeaking noise, so make sure you don't see any leaks before replacing any belts.

Newer cars have a serpentine belt. (You didn't say what your car is). Yours might have one and it may be slipping due to a weak tensioner pulley assembly. The tensioner applies pressure to the belt to keep it adjusted and if it gets weak, it can allow the belt to slip. A new belt may help but it will eventually get slick or burned etc. and it might start to squeak again. Check with someone who knows if your car has this style of belt/tensioner combination and if it is okay or needs replacement.

Accelerate the gas for a couple seconds, If it keeps on..... Then stops after, or even squeaks just a bit, Good possibility that it is your fan belt.

It is hard to get a strait answer and could end up annoying you in multiple ways. Its probably a pump or belt. Don't trust anyone.

This has nothing to do with the belts or engine, as it happens only when you turn. You may be using wrong outer size of tires, making this problem when you turn

Are you holding it against the stops? That's when you turn the wheel as far as it'll go & hold it there. That's a no no.
