I have a noise coming from what seems to be the front left wheel. Sounds like something is grinding. The noise actually sounds like I have a flat tire when I get to about 30MPH. The noise stops or goes really soft when I let off of the gas. There is also some vibration. This is definitely not the engine, the engine sounds great when car is not rolling. Could this be some kind of bearing? How can this be fixed and what is a reasonable price to have this fixed? and how damaging is it to continue to drive with this going on? Any help would be great!

This is your front wheel bearing. Mine just went out on my 01 Silverado. The bad thing is this is a sealed bearing, meaning you can't just press out the bearing. You have to buy the whole kit. Parts and labor will run you about $300-$400. If you can do it yourself (pretty easy, took me about 1/2 hour) it will cost you about $150.

You need to get it to a mechanic before something falls off or burns up. It sounds like a brake caliper is grinding against the rotor. It won't heal itself.

Don't buy GM products. You might as well burn your cash and get some heat...

Maybe its your brakes. Have you had them inspected recently?
