You never see anyone under a firetruck working on it. You never see one getting towed either. The firemen keep them cleaned and supplied but who works on them? I never see them at a Jiffy Lube, Firestone etc. I never see them anywhere but at the fire station, going fast with their lights on or showing off for kids.

I got new tires weeks ago, and one has a tiny tear on the sidewall causing a flat. The shop says one guy there knows how to repair sidewalls (from the inside of the tire), and he'll determine tomorrow whether this one is fixable.

1. Should I even consider it?
2. I assume the warranty won't cover this; is it worth contacting the tire manufacturer? I have no idea how it got this tiny tear and am a little frustrated that this happened on less than 500 miles.

I have a 1995 escort with a 1.9 liter and it sat around for about 2 months and i recently got it back and put some oil in it. I drove to the store one day and as i went to start it to leave, it made the horriable cliking nose when it ran an soon stalled out, the car will run and idle now but the engin shakes like hell and clciks with ever Revolution, anyideas? this could be Vaule truble or a wrist pen, any one have any other ideas i could use some imput.

we took it to a transmission shop and they pluged in the computer and said that code 39 poped up which ment that the (pressure swich assembly) was not working well.So we put in a new one and it is stell doing the same thing.What should I do.

i have a 2000 chrysler concorde today the check engine light came on for no reason? oil was changed 500 miles ago so its full. no lose gas cap i checked that. i did have a turn signal flasher combo sensor replaced under the dash left the shop because they where closeing. then 2 blocks down the road the check engine light came on.? did they some how set off a code to the computer after replaceing that sensor? and if not what else could it be?

It really need spower steering fluid but I do not see anywhere where I can pour it. I see where the trans fluid, motor fluid and brake fluid go but there is nowhere for the power steering

I did have a mechanic look at the airconditioning and he said that my compressor was bad and needed freone also. So I know thats fixable. Now that it has gotten cooler, I turned on my heat and the heat doesnt work either. What is wrong now? Trusted mechanic is out of town for the week, anyone know what this could be??

I have a mazda 6 '04 and i did a airbox modification by taking out some unneeded parts. I need to take it the dealer because of a check engine light. Im pretty sure its not cause of the modification but should I put everything back before I take it back to the dealer?
