I have a 1995 escort with a 1.9 liter and it sat around for about 2 months and i recently got it back and put some oil in it. I drove to the store one day and as i went to start it to leave, it made the horriable cliking nose when it ran an soon stalled out, the car will run and idle now but the engin shakes like hell and clciks with ever Revolution, anyideas? this could be Vaule truble or a wrist pen, any one have any other ideas i could use some imput.

Sounds like a bent valve. Is this a GT model with the high dome pistons? Doesn't sound good....may have swallowed a valve. Pull the head...it only takes a little over an hour if you leave the intake and exhaust manifolds on. Good luck.

It's probably time to find another car. The repairs could be more than this one is worth.
