A heck of a lot less than the time it takes for an older deisel engine to require repairs....one that doesn't have all of this computer crap on it. It will probably go bad between 50 and 100K. Good luck.

depends but usually 4-5 years of the origninals on the truck to going bad.... If I remember, the new one is a revision for the problems they have been having with them.. so it should last the life of the truck after..
