Fuses are ok,The signal lights stopped working but came back 3 different times.I have flashes working fine but no blower or rear defroster either and they are different fuses.A short taking out 3 different devices seems odd.Any ideas? Thanks!

A neighbor of mine has a '90's Crown Victoria he has had for quite a while. The transmission on it died quite a while ago, and he wants to sell the car... *pout*. I want to get it replaced for him (and possibly for myself...). Would it be worth my time to replace it (I can get a trannie that will work for $40 if I pull it for myself...)?

My car's security system, i lost the remote and currently my radio is locked and say's code........if i turn car on, open door, anything the car honks (security system) non-stop. I CAN'T get it to stop, how do i stop the honking...is there away to turn off the honking?

It's a manual transmission, mazda 626, I believe it is a 94 model. It is turning, but not firing...we thought it was the distributor or the alternator, but we aren't sure...Is there any EASY way to figure out why it isnt firing?

I have a 1995 Chevy C1500 4.3 V6. I seem to be builiding up pressure in the air conditioning system even though the system remains closed. I tried to put a can of freon in and hte pressure in the system did not allow it. I depressed the high side port and for a good while all I got was air. No refrigerant. The clutch at times kicks on and acts as if the system is low on freon by cycling on and off but again, I'm unable to pur refrigerant. Too much pressure. This all started when i noticed the a/c coolling and then all of a sudden getting warm as if the compressor was not even on. I tracked a leak to the high side port shraeder valve and replaced it. Now it won't take any charge at all. Thanks for any help that may be available.

i own a 1990 Dodge Omni with the 4 Cyl 2.2L with AC i have put a new timeing belt on in June and i just put a new Coil new spark Plug new Cap new Roter new Ignition Module new spark plug wires and i even cleened out the Throttle Body with some Carb Cleen and put a new filter on it air and fuel filter and i just filled up with 92% Gas and when i start it it will run good but when you start driveing down the road it acts like it's going to die out it dose it really bad when i drive around conors what could it be why it's doing this? please Help!!
it only has 115K on the motor

please no one say junk it i really would like to fix it up and keep it

I need an engine for a 2002 Toyota Rav 4 SUV, I need a good Used one or unless someone has a new one that won't break the bank, I am a single mother with no financial support from my children father (which is not from a lack of trying) but I'm in a bind for the weather is getting colder and I have limited funds available. Ok, this is the second Ford Explorer I have owned. The first one was a 1994 Explorer. The one I own now is a 2003 and I think I may be having problems with the stupid transmission. I replaced a transmission twice in one year with my other truck and vowed never to own another one, but stupid me bought one in January. It makes a clicking sound all the time and doesn't seem to pull right going up hills and my local repair shop told me that he thought it may be something in the transmission. Does this sound right? He said my brakes were all good. If I have to pay $2500 for another transmission, I will just give up on Ford all together. Please help if you can. Thanks

when i turn the key it clicks but wont turn over.plenty of power.any ideas besides going to a mechanic who'll charge me an arm and a leg??




I have it hooked up to a charger right now, and it's getting power, but it is still clicking when I try to turn it on.


i took out the old battery and hooked up a car battery and when i turn the key it clicks once and does nothing. i realise it was a car battery and not a truck battery. i also tried hitting the starter with a hammer and that didnt do anything...

my friend has a 1994 Plymouth Acclaim and it has about 125K on the motor and he wanted to put a new fuel filter on it but he didn't do it he just got some carb cleen and cleened out the Throttle Body but now it wont stop blowing out white smoke out the mulfer what is going on? note the eng light comes on only some times not all the time thats why he tho to cleen the Throttle Body what could it be why it's blowing white smoke it just started blowing smoke after he cleened it out please kelp!!

When I start it in the morning it's fine, but when I start it again after driving a while it shakes and dies once it's in drive or reverse if I don't step hard on the gas. It's an automatic. Also it shake when I drive it on the freeway, and at stop lights it starts to shake and eventually dies if I don't step on the gas. Is there something I could not have connected right when I put the new radiator in that would cause this because it was not a problem before?

I got in my chrysler 300 and a light indicating low tire pressure came on . I checked the pessure and sure enough it was low. It amazes me how it could sense this since the tire have to spin and there could not be a direct connection to a sensor. Anybody know how it works?

27HP Briggs Stratton engine. Starts up fine and runs well usually. Twice it has started running then putters out, It will start right back up if I try then putter out again. If I wait an hour it will start and run fine?
