The TCC solenoid is in the transmission valve body. "Torque converter control" Valve operates on the on and off frequency more on than off more torque converter lock up and less on than off less lock up. This is the last thing your transmission does as you drive down the freeway 45 mph and up. about 500 rpm drop as the torque converter clutch hooks the engine directly to the gear box. Gm cars use lock up in third and fourth gears to help cool the gear boxes.

i own a repair shop,,and its stand for the torque converter,clutch solenoid switch,,it is what locks the torque converter up once you reach a certain speed on the car,,and gives great gas mileage when its in this mode,,its located inside of the transmission on it,and the pan has to be taken off to get to it,good luck i hope this help,s.
