When I make sharp right and left turns the steering wheel shakes and theres a noise. This never happened till now. Is it becasue it's getting old or is there a problem with the tire or suspension? It's an '05 Honda CRV.

My 2000 Honda Civic Dx is over heating. I've changed the thermostat and use coolant every other day. Today I've notice my car fan doesn't turn on when hot. Could this be why my car doesn't start when hot? And, what could be the cause of the fan not working? Solutions? Thanks.

I experienced a short/bad ground issue effecting the fuel and tempeture gauges and as what seemed to be the same time, the "BRAKE FLUID" light came on. I don't know if they are associated, but I used contact cleaner all around the fuse box and juctions and it fixed the problem... other than the "BRAKE FLUID" lite is still on. Fluid level is fine. Any suggestions?

I have a 99 Ford Taurus with just aout 113,000 miles on it. I had just drove it from Michigan to Texas. Before I left Michigan, my car had a slight steering wheel like "movement" and my dad thought I had bad tires, but I didn't get new ones before making the trip...(dumb, I know...just short on money!) Anyway, now it's gotten MUCH worse and my steering wheel shakes a lot, and I know it is out of line (about 25 degree angle (left) is going "straight") I can also (I think) feel the tire wobbling as I come to a stop. I don't dare go 60 on the freeway down here with it. I did get it checked out for a "check engine" light and it wasn't the transmission (had been having problems with a jerk between 40-50) but it is something with the motor - and something about an oxygen sensor. Anyhow, the same transmission guy said that I should get my tie rod fixed, he said it's dangerous to drive (he took it for a little drive). Any suggestions??

wanted to see how it would handle. Well the road was alot worse than I remember it being from walking on in. Either side where the tires go were deep ruts and the middle was elevated with some large rocks partway through. So anyway, as i drove over it I heard and definatley felt my undercarriage scraping against these rocks. I then put it on a highway and drove home from there... it was a stupid thing to do no doubt, but I couldn't turn around by the time I realized I was screwed. My friend suggested I put it on ramps tommorow and look at the undercarriage. Think I could have done some major damage?

I have a 2003 Maxima. Today I got a flyer from the local Nissan Dealer for a free 100-point vehicle checkup. I have never had this done before. I have had work done at the dealership recently and am not really experiencing any problems. Is the 100-point checkup worth? Perhaps someone who has worked at a dealership or an tech can tell me whether its worth the time and effort for what they do. I realize its a ploy to get you in the door but you don't have to get anything fixed there. They just give you a report of what they find. I'm wondering how thorough this inspection is since its free. Thanks
