can i use Fiberglass over duct tape?????

i am currently shaping the trunk on my car and i have heard i can do the rough shaping with duct tape and fiberglass over that. will that work?

yes because the fiber glass will form over that anyways. the tape is giving you something to work with. youre fine.

i would use a bondo tape the bondo may not adhere to the slick surface of the duct tape,, causing the bondo to "sink"
