wanted to see how it would handle. Well the road was alot worse than I remember it being from walking on in. Either side where the tires go were deep ruts and the middle was elevated with some large rocks partway through. So anyway, as i drove over it I heard and definatley felt my undercarriage scraping against these rocks. I then put it on a highway and drove home from there... it was a stupid thing to do no doubt, but I couldn't turn around by the time I realized I was screwed. My friend suggested I put it on ramps tommorow and look at the undercarriage. Think I could have done some major damage?

I doubt any damage was done. The damages could have been exhaust broke, front end damage, oil pan scrape, trans pan scrape, damaged wiring. Any of these you should have noticed on the highway.

When on the ramps try to look at the ooil pans and plugs motor oil and transmission oil to see if they have any leaks. Then try inspecting some of the hoses that are under thier see if they have any leaks also. Finaly try looking at your tires not on the ramps though but my taouching them when cold and car standing still in park see if they have any cuts or bubble you want to avoid having a blow out at high speeds.

You could have done damage to oil pan or transmission pan, check these for signs of fluid leak. You can also pull loose the oxygen sensor wires that are located in your exhaust. Good idea to raise it up and have a look

I would raise the car and look for scrape marks that will definitely be there. That is where you want to look for damage. If you didn't see any fluids underneath the car you are probably going to be all right.

Well thats pretty hard on it. I would wait till morning and see if ther is a leak of any sort. If so then put it on ramps and take a look. If its acting normal and handeling fine then dont worry. If its leaking then fix it.
