When I make sharp right and left turns the steering wheel shakes and theres a noise. This never happened till now. Is it becasue it's getting old or is there a problem with the tire or suspension? It's an '05 Honda CRV.

It could be your power steering pump. Do you still have a service warranty?

Most probably it's not the tire. It could be the suspension or the front end. It doesn't sound too bad yet, but it will probably get worse, so you should check it out.

this is probablyu a CV joint going bad or brakes rubbing. It could possibly be a loose wheel or some obstruction caught in the wheel well somehow. I would call around to friends and ask for a referral to a local honest mechanic and ask ifhe will take a peek for you. The fact you state it happens when you turn sharp makes me think CV joint, if the car is a 2005 that is pretty new for cv joints to be gone bad but you should try not to turn the wheel as far as it will go because that stretches the rubber housing toits limit and makesthe part fail faster. Also if you live in a dry climate or have had other repairs done it could accelerate the deterioration of the cv joints. This will be a pretty straight forward fix no matter what it is, unless you have had a wreck and the frame is bent or something anyway,,, hard telling but this should help. Good luck and make sure you deal with a referred mechanic and check him out with Betrter busines bureau and take a guy with you to talkshop with mechanic as some will take advantage oof a female if they think they can get away with it. Ask for your old parts back,,, in writing. Good Luck.

Ball Joints and / or suspension, get it fixed asap. Oh have it checked for Bulges in the tire also taht can cause the "wobble" affect on the steering wheel.

Sounds like the power steering pump may be low on oil. It shouldn't be, as this car is almost new. It should still be under warranty, if it is, take it in. If not, let a MAN take it to a mechanic to diagnose. This could be, but not necessarily, a big problem. Don't worry....yet. Find out first.

You might just need an alignment. Did you hit a curb or something recently? Be careful when it comes to your steering, if something goes out you're obviously in big trouble.
Have someone check it out for sure..
Good luck...

if its like a clicking noise, probably kind of loud then it is very probable that its your cv axle, but it seems too new for that to be a problem however, its possible that somehow your boot busted on the axle, i would get it checked out ASAP

if it clanks it could be the cvboot, or the joints need more grease ,
also it could be out of alignment,or you might it hit a curve, pot hole
and lost the alignment
