i own a repair shop,,and you can pressure clean them,,but the always cause trouble later on after you do it,,because they were only made to with stand so much pressure,,and you have to force more than they were meant to have put on them ,,to clean them out,,once this is done they will give trouble,,they always do,,if there that bad id replace them rather than spend money on them now,and then have to replace them later, believe me i have done it both ways, and replacing them now is a lot easier then doing it later,,the money you waste on them now will be gone for ever, good luck i hope this help,s.

Just buy six new injectors. Pontiac injectors do not clean well. Lean out a engine and burn a piston. I owned a 1997 pontiac GTP and replacing injectors helps eliminate the rear cyl head that cracks. New injectors still #3 misfire pull the cyl heads.

I've worked on cars for over 20 yrs and have never heard of this process. If you suspect your injectors are dirty buy some fuel injector cleaner and put it in with a full tank of gas. that should fix that problem.
sounds like you got some bad advice from someone on that one.

It's not the cleaning that costs -- it's the labor to remove and reinstall mostly. Probably at least 2.5 hours.
