Might need flushing, if you haven’t used it for the summer and your coolant is, shall we say, not up to par, you may have a blockage in the line. Back flushing can knock it loose then putting in new coolant will help the engine and keep you warm too. This is where I would start, you get the most done for the least amount of money

The flow to the heater core is blocked or low.
Worst would be a new heater core
best would be you have an air pocket
Or the door is closed or stuck
Get the engine professionally flushed

what does " not work " mean. do you have air blowing but not hot? do you hear the blower working ? does it just do nothing ....could be thermostat ( air blowing but no heat ) could be broken door or arm on the heater box or broken cable ( no air coming out but the blower is running ) could be a fuse or bad wire ( does nothing )
