It's not too hard to do yourself. The heater core will cost 65 bucks. Then take the dash cover off of the bottom of the dash. Take the heater box apart....it's in the middle of the dash between the driver and passenger's feet. You'll need a 1/4 inch socket set with a swivel and extension. When you get the bottom of the box off, the core hoses will need to be removed from outside. Under the car on the firewall just behind the power steering rack. (you may want to go ahead and replace those hoses and clamps too...not too expensive) Now go back into the car and pop the snap clips off of the core. Put the new one in and reassemble in reverse order....don't forget to put your heater hoses back on and refill your cooling system. 1 hr for experienced mechanic....4 hours for DIY. Good luck.

Heater Core lists for about $115 bucks,OEM. Parts store may be less.
2.0 hours labor is listed for replacement.
At $65/hr, you are looking to spend around 2 hundred bucks.
