Will my car get towed if it is parked outside my house with no license plates? I'm just wondering because my garage is being worked on and I needed to move it. It's probably going to be in the front maybe from morning until the afternoon. Will my car be towed because it has no plates?

I recently moved from DC into MD. In order to register my vehicle in MD I had to request that my financing company release my title to MVA. However MVA sent me the orginal title (in my name). Now that I have the title in my name, do I still have to pay the car-note?

Can my car be repossed? If I have the title showing that I am the owner of the vehicle.

I was stopped for driving around a trolley when I shouldn't have. I was also driving with a suspended license (I didn't know about that) and without car insurance. I now need to get a car to go to school and work. Should I plead guilty or not guilty? What is the best way for me to finally resolve this and put this behind me? I don't want to pay an attorney if I can handle this myself. Thanks in advance.

my mum has a policy with norwich union which shes had a few years and im the only named driver. about a month ago at renewal i wrote to them to say we didnt need the policy any more. my mother has dementia and im now taking my own policy. i didnt hear anything and they took the direct debit out. i rang them this morning to ask what was happening first thing was they said i cant write as its a phone company only, i didnt know that as i didnt take the policy out. then they passed me to someone in india who said only my mother could cancel the policy theres nothing he could do and he needed to speak to her. i explained that she has dementia and a. is not even here any more but in a home and b. that its unlikely she would even know what an insurance policy was let alone that she had one with norwich union. he could offer no solution and i said that i would then have to cancel the direct debit which i am able to do as her POA and let them cancel policy for non payment

I recently made a claim for hail damage. I received a check for the damage minus the deductible. I currently do not have the money to cover the deductible. Do I have to fix my car right away? What if I can not come up with the money for the deductible? Can I still deposit/cash the check for the claim and use it at a later date? Is it fraud if I don't/can't make the repairs?

I’m turning 16 and I already went through my driver’s ed class and got my permit. (awesome) All I need to do now is schedule a drive. The thing is I am totally scared and nervous about getting on the road. I have not driven before.

How can I get over my fear of driving and most importantly what should I expect from my first behind the wheel lesson?

Our vehicle is still being paid off (auto-loan) but I'd like to add my spouse as one of the "owners" on the vehicle's title.

I have obtained comprehensive since the incident but they said that since it was pre-existing, it would not be covered.

My girlfriend and I and going on a 4 day royal carribean cruise to Mexico from So. Cal leaving 9/7/07. My friend is getting married on the ship. Yesterday, my g/f's car was broken into and her purse was stolen from under her seat. Luckily, I made her remove her birth certificate and social security card that she carried in her wallet (don't ask me why, I know it's really stupid. I had some kind of bad feeling a few days before that somehow it would get lost).

Going to Mexico doesn't require a passport until next year (if you are going by boat). We didn't bother to apply since you don't need one until 2008. Plus the passport office is really backed up. I've seen those "rush" passport services online though I've never used one. They seem really expensive. Any other suggestions?? She went to the DMV this morning to renew her license since it was coming due anyway. The lady said we "should" get it by next Friday but who knows especially with labor day approaching.

i just think it doesn't seem fair, that my neighbour has a blue badge, and although he has just had a knee replacement, he is 42, is quite active, is a driving instructor, and has a company car - is this correct and above board ? Seems very odd, as I didn 't think you were allowed to work if you have a blue badge - help !

It was definitely her on one of the cars (she wrote her name on it), but we are not positive about the other 2. The cars were not on our property, they were parked at our neighbors homes. Is this covered? I cannot find my policy and I want to know before I call my Insurance guy.
