If the dealer does not provide you with the title, contact the DMV and put in a complaint to the dealer license section!
Dealers have to post a bond to be licensed, and they DMV will be able to either help you gt the title, or put a claim in against the dealer's bond.

if you bought it from a dealer, is it fully paid off? that's the only way you're getting the title.
i recently (actually, about a year ago) bought a car from a very small dealership... first time ever doing that. The place went out of business. I then got the plate renewal in the mail saying that it was still on the car that I traded in. the secreatary of state has no record that i bought this new car.... what happened is the crappy dealership never transfered title to my name.
i'm currently having the secretary of state police look into it but I don't know what will happen with that. the case has been open for months now and i haven't heard a thing.

If you paid cash for the truck you should have the title in 30 days, if you are making payments on the truck you won't get the title untill the payments are all made and it is paid in full.

If you have a loan you don't get a title. If you paid straight up for the truck you got had if you don't yet have a title.

If you have a loan then the bank (lender) has the title until its paid off, if you bought it outright then get a lawyer down to the dealership.
