i just think it doesn't seem fair, that my neighbour has a blue badge, and although he has just had a knee replacement, he is 42, is quite active, is a driving instructor, and has a company car - is this correct and above board ? Seems very odd, as I didn 't think you were allowed to work if you have a blue badge - help !

Many handicapped tags are temporary while some are permanent. Working has no bearing. His job does not require him to walk but is the reason he was issued the card.

Perhaps he has dificulty walking, and that is why he qualifies for the permit!

Handicaps do not prevent people from working. I know folks who have lost limbs who still work every day!
