In order to drive a car you must have registration plates and insurance which you must have a tital to get. If you get caught the police will take the car and you will be arrested and have to pay fines and you will not be able to get the car back because you have no proof that the car is yours.

You must possess a title to get any vehicle in Texas registered. So with that said sure you can drive the vehicle but when you get stopped if you dint know the history of the car it may be possible to be charged with theft, failure to register a motor vehicle, and depending on insurance and safety related items there are many more charges that can arise.

One thing for sure....you can't drive without plates. To get plates, you need the title. Guessing you don't have insurance either.
