I have a 2005 GMC Sierra. My ABS light has been on for several days. I took it to the dealer and they said it will be $150 just to diagnose the problem, thats just to figure out the problem thats not to fix it. On top of that I will need to pay to fix it (weather its big or small). Still, I dont want to pay this much. I have checked the brake fluid level of the master cylinder, and thats ok. Next I am going to check the four sensors. I was wondering other than checking the sensors what else can I look for? Is there some sort of diagnostic tool I can buy to help figure this out and do it myself? What else can I check.??? By the way my brakes feel fine, I just want the light off! Thanks

Sometimes it will work in spurts of 15-20 minutes. I can't concretely determine a pattern for when it works, but extreme hot and cold weather seem to be part of it. 95% of the time it simply reads 0. All other gages work properly. The circuit board and LED display has been replaced once, and it worked properly after the replacement.

I have a 1999 Chevy Blazer. Right now, it's in 2hi. I put the car into park, and push the button for 4hi, but the light just keeps blinking. How do I change to 4hi correctly?

As inline 6's go, the m50 engine in my 325 feels a little underpowered. I want a turbo kit and have a few thousand to spare on one. First off, I need to know where I can get one, and I also need to know how much it might cost. I have a feeling it might need to be a custom job nightmare. Please help

I just leased a new F-150 and the engine can take the cheaper E85 (ethanol) fuel. I was wondering if anyone has tried it before? Is it worth using and does it really save you money? Ive heard it can tear up your engine?

My dodge Ram 2003 has a 3" difference between the front and back axial and I was trying to figure the average cost of buying this type of leveling kit as well as the cost of the installation. Does anybody know what I can expect?

And I already have fairly decent sized tires (20" rims, whatever that comes out to be) so would i need to consider getting a larger front set of tires so it doesn't look bad?

i have recently purchased a cat d 04 fiat punto and the back bit of the exhaust fell off within a month. I think it was just the back box.

I went to kwikfit and they said they had to replace the whole thing which woul cost about 160 quid.
because i was thinking of getting a performace/sports backbpx replaced anyway, i am thinking i should go to another garage and having it welded on.

At first i thought kwikfit were just trying to make more money out of me by asking me to replace the whole thing, but ive heard some other people say that you cant just replace a sepearte part of the exhuast as it is one continous piece.

Is there any truth to this?

also if i do get the whole thing replaced then i would have to pay extra to get the backbox modified. any suggestions for an alternative option?

this car needs ALOT of cosmetic work, but sounds good to me otherwise. But how bad of a gas hog is it?

2007-12-12 16:05:33 · 10 answers · asked by Anonymous in Chevrolet

Its in a 1976 camaro (like the one off of transformers) it runs good, but it needs alot of cosmetic work done to it including: paint, carpet, upholstry, that kind of stuff. All the electrical works. I want something fast, that looks good, at least under the hood. Im not going to be racing it or anything, but i want an impressive car that sounds good and loud. this car is being sold for $1500 and i was wondering if it was worth it?

im buying a 1999 audi a6 with 305000 kms. its been well maintained, so how much life does it have left? good buy or no? AND THE BIGGEST THING OF ALL; the guy who has it has been using supreme gas in it. can i switch down to unleaded or would that do something. is it ok to downgrade since its not the turbo. its just the 2.8l V6 Quattro.
