If the fuel pump fails, you are not going anywhere.

DO NOT OPEN A FUEL LINE AND TURN THE ENGINE OR KEY ON!! YOU COULD BURN ALIVE!! That is EXTREMELY DANGEROUS!
First. turn the key on an merely listen at the tank for the humming of the pump?
Go to an auto parts store and get or borrow a fuel pressure gauge and connect to the fuel rail schrader valve. First turn the key on and watch for around 10 seconds..Nothing? Try to start it and watch..Keep gauge and fingers out of all that spinning stuff. Pressure should come up to around 40 PSI during cranking..Still nothing? Check wirings, fuses,,and some..not sure on yours have a pump disconnect switch.. Check your owners manual.
Good Luck.

Connect a fuel pressure gage to the injector rail fitting and turn on the ignition- 38-45 psi min.

It is the only reliable method.

When you turn the key, do you hear it prime? You would hear a humming sound coming from the tank. Check the fuse. See if it is blown. Press down on the schrader valve on the fuel rail on top of the engine and see if there is pressure. It could be the pump is fine but the pressure regulator is bad.

when you turn the key on you will hear it turn on and run for a few seconds ,then it will get quiet,or you can check for fuel pressure at the fuel rail to see it there is fuel coming up to the engine, that's one good way to find out if there's fuel reaching the engine, good luck.
