As inline 6's go, the m50 engine in my 325 feels a little underpowered. I want a turbo kit and have a few thousand to spare on one. First off, I need to know where I can get one, and I also need to know how much it might cost. I have a feeling it might need to be a custom job nightmare. Please help

Add your few thousand dollars to the value of the 325i and buy a used M3 instead.

Aftermarket turbocharging of BMWs (nevermind OLD BMWs) are usually reserved for people with more dollars than sense... and are ALWAYS costly over the life of the car.

It's a custom job nightmare. Aftermarket turbo kits are maintenance and tuning nightmares even after you finish the custom job nightmare. Save yourself money and headache by selling your car and using the proceeds + savings to buy a new one that fits your needs.
