The specs for the limited version of the Patriot say its ground clearance is 9.0 inches. It doesn't look like it's that much. Is this true? I want a vehicle with a bit more ground clearance and good 4x4 capabilities. This just may be my new vehicle. :-)

I have a 93 Ford Taurus I changed the motor on the fan and I changed the thermostat but my fan is still not kicking on even though the heat runs better(LOL). Now what should I do? And if it is the sensor where would the sensor be located.And by me having the fans motor changed why is the fan still not coming on.Someone please help me I need answers quick.Thanks

Ive been in some fast cars but I just got my car finished the way I wanted it to be. the car is quicker than I ever could expect I thought my combo would give me 245 HP but it doesn't feel anything like that its more. This is what I have 1986 mercury capri with stock 86 short block with no valve releifs, 78 302 heads for more compression ratio and better head, summit stage 2 intake manifold, 600 CFM edelbrock carb, stock roller cam, 15/8 shorty headers, 2.25 H pipe no cats, flowmaster exhaust and not running the smog pump. Also I have the King cobra clutch assembly, solid motor mounts, 5 speed and 3.73 gears for my rear. I know Ive listed allot but please try to give me a estimate on HP Im curious to the max. This car is no joke its scares the living crap out of me

So I have to pull the heads off my 2001 Mustang Gt ... and well I was looking for parts online for my car and ran across DOHC heads.... If I bought those for my car what else would I have to do to the engine Or whatever else to make it work... or can it even be done.... how different is the GT block from the Cobra block ?

My dodge intrepid 94 ES 3.3 has a strange problem.THe car runs fine mostly but some times it takes a deep breath on the road & the engine stops working.All attempts to restart do not work.I have to wait for about an hour & it satrts. I took it to the mechanic but he could not figure out the problem.It also happens some times if I leave car in the parking for a while & come back to start again.

I have a 2000 Chevy Z71. When I crank it up during cold weather, you can hear an almost "sewing machine" sound coming from underneath the truck. The dealer and I first thought is was a noisy fuel pump and changed it. The noise is still there. The sound travels along the underside of the truck, making it hard to pin point. It does not get louder during acceleration and eventually stops after about an hour or so. No noise during warmer weather.

It overheated the other day....took it to the shop and they said it was 1.5 gallons low on antifreeze...they pressurized it after refilling it and ran multiple tests and couldn't find any leaks or anything.....A week later I checked it and had to add a whole other gallon in...no leaks or anything tho that I can see..also the coolant reservoir is always empty but there aren't any leaks in that either I checked it. ......where else could the antifreeze be going???...any suggestions as to what I could try or what it might be.

Oil/filter were changed at commercial oil stop. When I start Camaro lite comes on, then I turn car off and back on and lite stays off. Oil stop says they didn't touch any oil sensor but I never had the lite come on before they did the work. I checked my oil level and it's fine. Is it a coincidence the sensor goes out the same time as the oil change occurred?

I have a Honda Civic 2005. Occasionally, when I slow down I feel the engine is like shutting down then come on back up. The whole thing lasts <1 second.

Another thing is when I start the car in the cold morning, the exhaust gas smell pretty bad, like gasoline.

What could be the problem?
